    I used yogurt instead of sour cream & applesauce instead of oil only because I didn’t have them #quarantine2020. They still came out delicious!

    My husband made these on Easter 2020 (during the global pandemic lockdown) and they were too delicious. I couldn’t stop eating them. I delivered 2 to our neighbors (safely of course) which left us with 10. There’s only 5 left in the bag as of this morning. I’m 99.9% certain these freeze well. Time to be a hero and save myself from myself.

    Very moist crumb and lovely base flavor. Delicious just the way it is but the streusel topping is subtle for us, I would adjust for more cinnamon & sub out some granulated for brown sugar.

    This recipe could've easily made 14-18 muffins instead of 12. I made 12 and they were huge to the point where they took 10min longer to bake and flattened in the middle. They smell good, but definitely needed to be smaller.

    Great recipe! Love layering the topping in the middle of the muffin! Swapped in 1/2 cup brown sugar for the granulated sugar. So good!! Thanks for the recipe!!
